Article VI states, “The Senators and Representatives . . . shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”
It is well-known that members of Congress do not read the legislation they vote on; how do they then know that such legislation is constitutional if they have not read it?! Secondly, Congress now believes they can pass legislation; and, it is up to the Supreme Court to determine the constitutionality of any such legislation, if and when, it may be challenged by someone who has the time and millions-of-dollars to waste in order to fight the U.S. government.
Furthermore, how can a confirmed Socialist, like the newly elected Representative Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, take the Oath to support the Constitution, when she will purposely try to restrict, tax, regulate and redistribute private property, which is contrary to the U.S. Constitution based on individual freedom; the Constitution is not a democratic document and does not allow for socialism.
Unfortunately, the United States of America has been acting like a democracy over the past 80-to-100 years, rather than a Constitutional Republic, designed to limit government; and, protect the individual and private property rights from the majority and enthusiastic minorities. This has been accomplished through government-controlled compulsory schooling, supported by academia and the mainstream media. Why else would Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez believe that socialism actually works; and, that she and her ilk can legally change the United States from “the land of the free” to the land of democratic socialists.
The Democratic Socialists of America, the principal U.S. affiliate of Socialist International, lists 57 members of Congress as members, including Nancy Pelosi; and, Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Maxine Waters are on their Executive Committee. These 57 members of Congress perjure themselves every time they take the oath to support the U.S. Constitution. Maybe they consider Democracy and Socialism as the new religion, i.e., “but no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any office or public Trust under the United States?!”
Lenin stated, “Democracy is indispensable to socialism.” Karl Marx said, “Democracy is the road to socialism.” And, Lenin concluded, “The goal of socialism is communism.”
The problem we have today is that several generations have been indoctrinated and not properly educated. Throughout history, the average age of an Empire is 250 years, which would bring the United States of America to 2026 before we implode, probably resulting in another American revolution or civil war.
What can we do about this? Separate, Education and State; change the rules of the Supreme Court (see prior Blog, Take Politics Out of the Supreme Court and Restore Freedom); and, remove centralized power from Washington DC by repealing the 16th Amendment, the right of Congress to tax all incomes. Practically speaking, none of this will happen without a grass-roots effort to educate voters or sadly, through revolution.
Hopefully President Trump will survive 8-years in office and substantially grow the economy by reducing regulations and taxes; and, by renegotiating fair reciprocal trade deals; this would help in our effort to educate voters.
